News / Fined for assault
LERWICK man John Leonard Scollay was fined a total of £300 at the town’s sheriff court on Tuesday after he admitted assaulting a woman at her home.
The 40 year old was fined £200 for grabbing her and pushing her to the ground on 17 February, and a further £100 for breaching a bail condition that he did not approach or contact her.
He admitted being at the woman’s address in Lerwick on 23 April and remaining in her company.
