New fish market quay takes shape
Work is progressing at Mair’s Yard, Lerwick Port Authority’s new quay and the site of a future fish market building.
Local civil engineering firm Tulloch Developments has completed installing the piles for the quay wall of the 151 metre long berth.
A spokeswoman said an extensive area of land had been reclaimed and the works were on schedule for completion by the end of July 2013.
