A YOUNG Shetland man has been remanded in custody after being charged with a serious assault at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Friday.
Scott Anderson, aged 22, of Dunrossness appeared from custody in private where he made no plea or declaration and was committee for further examination.
He is expected to appear in court again next week.
