Lost the plot

While recognising that this (the housing debt) is an important matter, did it warrant six people plus air fares and hotel expenses etc (SIC upbeat after housing debt talks, SN, 20 Dec 12) – why didn’t all the 22 members go?

Surely two representatives would have been sufficient, one official and one member. Councillors, you have really lost the plot!
