News / Amsterdam flights
AIRLINES Flybe and Loganair have re-jigged their timetables to create new connections from Shetland to Amsterdam via Inverness.
From the end of October, weekday flights will connect for both south and north bound travellers allowing passengers to leave Sumburgh on the 7.40am flight to arrive in the Dutch city at 3pm.
The return leg will leave Amsterdam at 3.35pm arriving in Shetland at 7.20pm.
Loganair’s Phil Preston said: “Schiphol airport offers an extended network of transfers across the world, which Loganair and Flybe customers will be able to take advantage of.
“Furthermore, Amsterdam has plenty to offer tourists as the city is steeped in culture.”
