THE SUMBURGH based coastguard helicopter was called out to airlift an injured crew member from the oil standby vessel Grampian Dee, on Saturday afternoon.
The vessel was 70 miles northeast of Muckle Flugga when Shetland Coastguard was alerted to the incident at 1.15pm.
Search and rescue 102 arrived with the man at the Clickimin landing site at 3.40pm, from where he was taken to the Gilbert Bain Hospital by a waiting ambulance.
