The latest issue of i'i shetland.

SHETLAND’S glossy lifestyle magazine i’i Shetland has been shortlisted for the consumer magazine section of the 2012 Scottish Magazine Awards.

The monthly magazine, published by Millgaet Media, is up against Dumfries and Galloway Life, PosAbility, Scottish Field, Scottish Walks, Source and The Official Jacqueline Wilson Magazine.

The winner will be announced at a ceremony on 25 October at the Radisson BLU Hotel, in Glasgow.

The winners of 16 different categories will automatically be nominated for the top accolade of Scottish Magazine of the Year, which will be announced at the end of the ceremony.

Millgaet Media managing director Malcolm Younger said: “It’s great to receive recognition at national level and it’s full credit to all the staff at i’i shetland for producing a high quality monthly magazine, which is extremely popular throughout Shetland.”

i’i shetland was first published in 2006. The magazine features stories from the local community, based around high quality photography from its team of photographers.
