Trial date set

A TRIAL date has been set for the 9 January next year after for a Glasgow man charged with assault pled not guilty to a charge of assault when appearing from custody before Lerwick Sheriff Court on Monday morning,

Anthony Crawford is charged with injuring a woman by punching her on the head and gouging at her eye, at an address at Mossbank, on Sunday.

The 31 year old with an address of 28 Annan Drive was released on bail.
