Salmon online

MAJOR English online retailer Ocado has announced it is offering salmon products from Shetland firm Grieg Seafood Hjaltland.

The Lerwick-based company, Shetland’s largest salmon producer, has had its WildWaters Scottish Salmon range added to Ocado’s shopping list.

Ocado do not operate in Scotland, but extended into Wales last year.

Hjaltland managing director Michael Stark said he was delighted.

“Their efficient online sales and extensive reach means that the product will now be more widely available across the UK.”
