Letters / Wealth creators I will not support
IN LAST week’s Shetland Times there was an open letter sponsored by the Windfarm Supporters Group listing the names of all the businesses that are in favour of the Shetland Charitable Trust granting £6.3 million to Viking Energy.
I would like to thank WSG spokesman Chris Bunyan for his efforts, as I now know which of these “wealth creators” I will NOT be supporting in future.
I am assuming that the many businesses not named have not succumbed to the supporters’ group tactics and it is these businesses I will be using in future.
I realise it is going to be difficult to survive without the Muckle Roe bed & breakfast and Yell strawberries, but hope to manage somehow.
