Letters / Might he concede?
Rather than arguing with Andrew Halcrow over semantics, it would be good if Tony Erwood (Andrew didn’t understand, SN 5/5/12) would let us know what he thinks of the research done at Cal Tech by Professor John Dabiri, referred to in Andrew Halcrow’s letter (Reply to Tony Erwood; SN 4/5/12).
Might he also concede that this seems like a remarkable breakthrough in wind power technology?
Personally, I like the idea that, as Shetland has for so long sustained its economy thanks to shoals of fish, it would be apt indeed at least to consider the viability of Professor Dabiri’s turbines in our fragile environment.
