Fire officers to visit

TWO SENIOR fire fighting officers will be in Shetland later in May to discuss the future of the service in the isles.

Acting chief fire officer Mike Holme and deputy chief fire officer (seconded) Stewart Edgar will host a public meeting, most likely to be held in Lerwick, on 22 May.

They will also meet with representatives from other emergency services and the local authority.
