News / Monday’s custodies
THE CASES against three Shetland men were all continued without plea when they appeared from custody before Lerwick Sheriff Court on three separate complaints.
First in the dock on Monday was Paul D’Eathe, with an address of Madera, Greenhoulls Park, Brae.
The 50 year old was charged with following and contacting another person at various locations in Lerwick between 31 March and 12 April, causing her to suffer fear and alarm.
He was released on bail with the special condition not to contact or approach her in any way, and not to enter Lerwick other than for appointments with his doctor, solicitor or his employer.
Meanwhile, 40 year old Melvyn Henderson was charged with behaving in a threatening and abusive manner towards another person at his home address at 2 Park Lane, Lerwick, on Saturday. Henderson was also released on bail.
Finally, the case against 21 year old Josef Unsworth, of Kergord House, Weisdale, charged with assaulting another person at Posers nightclub on Saturday, was also continued without plea.
Unsworth was released on bail but told not to contact or approach the complainer in the charge.
All cases will be heard again on 2 May.
