News / Whalsay in the final

WHALSAY is to play either Spurs or Whitedale in the final of the Highland Fuels Cup after thumping Scalloway 6-2 in a semi final on Monday night, both sides scoring from the penalty spot.

Scorers for Whalsay were James Shearer (a hat trick, including one penalty), Alistair Johnson (two, including one penalty) and Stuart Shearer. Scalloway’s two goals were scored by Scott Henderson and Robert Garrick (a penalty).

Spurs and Whitedale will play the second semi final on Thursday night at Whalsay’s Harbison Park.
