TV thief bailed
A LERWICK man who stole a television from the local Co-op supermarket on Saturday has been released on bail.
On Tuesday 35 year old John Wood Gibson, of 23 Hoofields, admitted the theft when he appeared at Lerwick Sheriff Court.
Honorary sheriff Eric Peterson deferred sentence until May for background reports, however until then he placed Gibson on a weekend curfew between 7pm and 7am from Friday evening to Monday morning.
He must also answer his door to the police at any time and has been barred from entering the Co-op in Lerwick.
