Freight services cancelled

ADVERSE weather conditions are again disrupting freight services in and out of Shetland.

NorthLink said on Wednesday morning that both sailings of their freight vessels (Arrow due to sail south and Hildasay due to head north) were now cancelled.

The shipping company also warns that tonight’s soundbound sailing of the passenger ferry Hjaltland, leaving Lerwick at 5.30pm, could be delayed in arriving at Aberdeen harbour due to the weather and swell conditions.
