News / Multiple assault
SENTENCE on a young Shetland man was deferred for reports on Wednesday after he admitted assaulting four different people in Lerwick last year.
Lerwick Sheriff Court was told that 22 year old Sean Barker assaulted the three young men and one woman at Harrison Square on 1 October.
Sheriff Philip Mann called for social enquiry and restriction of liberty reports because of the number of assaults as well as Barker’s previous convictions. Sentence was deferred until 21 March. Bail was continued.
