Crash near airport

THE DRIVER of a car which left the road and went through a fence on the main A971 just west of Tingwall airport at around 8.30am on Wednesday escaped unhurt.

An ambulance and fire officers attended the vehicle, which had come to rest in a field, but their services were not required.
