SOME OF the most spectacular ocean racing yachts helmed by the some of the biggest names in the sport will round the north tip of Shetland on their way to Ireland in early September.
The six MOD70 trimarans will set off from the German port of Kiel at the end of August on their 5,000 miles race to the Italian port of Genoa.
The MOD70 European Tour will have stopover at Dún Laoghaire outside Dublin, the Portuguese port of Cascais, near Lisbon, and Marseille, in France.
