POLICE in Shetland are appealing for witnesses to an accident in which a pedestrian sustained a serious leg injury on Victoria Pier, in Lerwick.
The collision took place more than a week ago on Sunday 15 January at around 9pm at around 9pm on Sunday. Police was only informed on the accident days later.
A spokesman said: “Anybody who witnessed the incident or assisted the injured pedestrian and the male driver of the vehicle, which is described as dark in colour, is requested to contact Lerwick police station.”
