Weekend in cells over knife
SHETLAND police arrested a man on Saturday night in Lerwick’s Ladies Drive after finding him in possession of a knife.
The man was detained at 11pm by officers on foot patrol who saw the man acting furtively. He was searched and a knife was recovered from his jeans, a police spokesman said.
The man was locked up in the cells at Lerwick police station and is due to appear in court on Monday.
