News / Fuel theft in Unst

POLICE in Shetland are appealing for information following the theft of around 30 litres of unleaded fuel from a locker aboard a workboat at Quoys Hatchery, in Haroldswick.

The theft took place between 3pm on Saturday afternoon (17 December) and 9am the following morning.

As spokesman said: “Anyone who saw anything suspicious or any vehicles in the area between these times is urged to contact police in Lerwick on 01595 692110 or alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
