A LERWICK businessman faces a trial next month after denying he was involved in the theft of scrap metal in the town during the summer.
Nigel Timberlake, aged 50, of 9 Queens Lane, has pled not guilty to two charges of stealing a quantity of aluminium and copper from the Co-op supermarket on 2 June and again from 60˚ North Recycling at Gremista.
A trial has been set for 15 December at Lerwick Sheriff Court.
