News / More ferry disruption
FERRY operator NorthLink is warning travellers of more disruption to the service between Lerwick, Kirkwall and Aberdeen over the weekend.
Hrossey is scheduled to depart Aberdeen for Kirkwall and Lerwick at 5pm on Saturday, but is subject to delays due to adverse weather.
Delays are also likely to affect the southbound sailing of Hjaltland, which leaves Lerwick at 7pm.
The Pentland Firth service is on schedule on Saturday, but Sunday’s service is under review.
The cargo boat Hildasay left Lerwick for Aberdeen at 5.30am on Saturday and is due in at midnight, while Helliar departs Aberdeen for Kirkwall at midnight.
