Waste reduction

COUNCIL staff are highlighting the third annual European Week for Waste Reduction this week with an all day presence outside Tesco on Saturday.

Staff will offer advice on reducing food waste, giving out free recipe packs and handy tips on using leftovers, as well as guidance on blocking junk mail.

Everyone who comes along will be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win a Komp 800 compost bin.
