News / Fresh appeal following disturbance
POLICE in Shetland have made a fresh appeal for witnesses after a disturbance in the Sandveien area of Lerwick, last Saturday.
Officers would now like to hear from anyone who may have seen an 18 year old woman in the Sound/Lochside area of Lerwick between 10pm and 11.10pm on that Saturday.
The young woman is described as 5ft 4ins, with black, shoulder length hair and is of thin build. She was wearing dark casual clothing and boots.
Earlier this week police said they were investigating a disturbance between a man and a woman in which the man may have received facial injuries.
Anyone who saw this person between these times and has information is urged to contact Police in Lerwick on 01595 69 2110 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
