NORTHLINK have said the freight vessel Helliar will depart Lerwick four hours ahead of schedule on Wednesday at 2pm, due to the bad weather forecast.

The shipping line warns that there is “a high possibility” that Thursday’s 6pm sailing of the freighter Hildasay will not be on schedule and that Friday’s Helliar sailing from Lerwick will also brought forward to 2pm.

However Thursday’s 6pm sailing of Helliar from Aberdeen is expected to be on schedule at 6pm as are the other Hildasay sailings this week.
