News / Lithuanian released on bail

A THIRTY one year old Lithuanian man was released on bail pending trial after he appeared from custody before the Lerwick Sheriff Court, on Monday afternoon.

Arturas Garliauskas pled not guilty to a charge of behaving in a threatening and abusive manner at his address of 14 Ladies Drive, Lerwick, in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Trial was set for the 23 February 2012, and Garliauskas was told not to contact the complainer in the meantime.
