Winter weather campaign

THE POLICE and the government are teaming up this weekend as the clocks go back for the start of their campaign to prepare travellers throughout Scotland for the worst the winter weather can throw at them.

Details of tips for drivers, pedestrians, joggers and cyclists can be found at www.transportscotland.gov.uk.

Advice includes being prepared for changing conditions, consider if the journey is absolutely necessary and make sure your vehicle is in good condition.
