News / Maddrim film shortlisted for award
A short film by Shetland-based film production company Maddrim Media has made the shortlist in the ‘Discovery Youth Screen Award’ competition.
Autumn Leaves is a tribute to 80’s American soaps, and features a tense episode of a mythical popular daytime soap opera. The short film features a soundtrack by Shetland Youth Jazz
Maddrim member Joe Christie said: “I’m both chuffed and surprised to have been recognised at a national film festival. I feel delighted for the cast and Maddrim who did such a good job. It appears all the hard work has paid off!”
Shortlisted films will be screened Sunday, 30th October at 1.00pm at the Dundee Contemporary Arts. The winning film will be selected by an audience vote on the day of the screening.
