News / One vehicle crash closes north road

POLICE have closed the main A968 road between Voe and Mossbank following an accident involving just one vehicle about four miles north of Voe.

Fire crews from Lerwick and Brae are attending at the scene and are understood to be using cutting gear to free the driver of the vehicle.

The police have asked all drivers to make avoid the road and travel via Brae instead.
