THE SHOOTING team of Ewen Johnson and Alan Moar came within a whisker of the medals on Sunday night at the NatWest Island Games in the Isle of Wight.
Shooting in the Automatic Ball Trap, the pair scored 161, two points bronze medallists the Isle of Man, though a good 15 behind the winners Sark.
In the Olympic Skeet, John Magnus Laurenson and Bryan Sutherland came a respectable fifth with 156 points, just behind Orkney’s 159.
