News / Witnesses sought after accident
POLICE in Shetland are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a two car accident on the A971 near the Cott junction, at Weisdale, on Friday afternoon.
The collision involving a Ford pick-up and a green Toyota car happened just before 5pm. The occupants of both vehicles escaped with minor injuries.
A police spokesman said other motorists had been in the vicinity and might have seen the accident happening.
