About the Role
The Vehicle Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring our customers’ vehicles are maintained and repaired to the highest standards. This position requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering reliable, high‑quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently
- Communicate findings and recommendations to the Service Advisor team
- Follow manufacturer guidelines and workshop procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
- Test drive vehicles to verify repairs when required
- Stay up to date with technical training and industry developments
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician/ Mechanic, or similar role
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)
- Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Familiarity with modern diagnostic equipment and repair techniques
- Full UK driving licence
