Five Day Deckhand Preparation Course | £800 Seafish Funding Available
Looking to start a career at sea? Fully funded training placements worth £800 are available through Seafish for eligible applicants attending the Five Day Deckhand Preparation Course at UHI Shetland. Seafish Funding – Eligibility Criteria – Hold a current ENG1 medical certificate. Please note: funding is linked to attendance. Any missed days are not eligible for funding support, and participants may be personally charged for absences. How to Apply |

We offer student accommodation at our Port Arthur House student halls of residence, located at the Scalloway Campus. This facility has ten beds, all en suite, with a shared kitchen facility, and can be booked for short stays. Contact pah.shetland@uhi.ac.uk.
