About the Role
The Service Advisor is the face of our service department, responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience from the moment clients arrive until their vehicle is returned. This role blends customer service, technical understanding, and organisational skill to ensure smooth, efficient service operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and build strong, trusting relationships
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues
- Provide clear explanations of recommended services, repairs, and costs
- Prepare repair orders and coordinate with technicians to ensure timely workflow
- Communicate updates to customers throughout the service process
- Review completed work with customers and ensure satisfaction
- Handle payments, invoicing, and warranty documentation
- Maintain a clean, professional service desk environment
- Support the service team with scheduling, follow-ups, and administrative tasks
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to explain technical information in a clear, friendly way
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- A proactive, customer-first mind-set
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Basic vehicle knowledge (formal training is a plus)
- Proficiency with service management systems or dealership software (training provided)
