LEF Ltd is a busy engineering and fabrication company based in Lerwick, Shetland, supporting projects in the energy, renewables, and marine sectors. We’re looking for reliable and hardworking Semi-Skilled Workers to join our Workshop team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in a workshop, construction, or industrial setting who’s keen to learn and develop new skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist tradespeople with fabrication, mechanical, and general workshop tasks
- Operate basic tools and equipment under supervision
- Carry out general labouring, cleaning, and material handling duties
- Follow health and safety rules and procedures at all times
- Support the smooth running of day-to-day workshop operations
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a workshop, construction, or industrial role
- Good attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Basic mechanical or fabrication knowledge is a bonus
- Forklift licence or CSCS/Safety Passport is useful but not essential
