We are currently recruiting within our Engineering team in Shetland and looking for experienced Engineers to assist with the servicing of our Marine Farms across the island.

 

Responsible for the full service, maintenance and repair of plant equipment, our Marine Engineers travel between sites to support Farm Managers whilst maintaining an orderly workshop and ensuring health and safety compliance and safe systems of work are always in place.

The ideal candidates | should have the relevant Mechanical Engineering qualifications and ideally, but not essentially, experience in working with the following: marine vessels, generating sets, underwater lights, inboard diesel engines, outboard engines, forklifts and small plant repairs. Candidates will be excellent communicators, computer literate and should be able to demonstrate a commitment to developing a strong safety culture.

The role will operate Monday – Friday, 07:30am – 16:30pm and there will be a requirement for weekend work.
