D.I.T.T. Construction Ltd are looking for a proactive, organised, and approachable Health and Safety Manager to join our growing team. This is a full-time role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with health and safety experience who is passionate about maintaining high standards, promoting safe working practices, and supporting our team across a variety of construction projects and workplace environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Develop and review risk assessments and safe systems of work.
- Managing, controlling and implementing the Integrated Management System (IMS), in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies.
- Liaise with site managers, contractors, client representatives, and regulatory authorities.
Requirements
- NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent).
- Internal/Lead Auditor qualifications for ISO standards.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
- Proven experience in a health and safety role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with risk assessments and method statements.
