Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated time-served qualified electrician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be involved in a mix of commercial and domestic installation and maintenance works. The role requires someone who can work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Location: Greenhead Base, Lerwick. Candidate also required to travel to various sites across Shetland where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) Testing
- Installation & Maintenance of EV Chargers
- Installations of new or replacement DBs/Consumer Units
- Maintain Control Systems & Panels
- Perform Emergency Lighting Checks and Maintenance
- Install and maintain Security Systems (CCTV, Intruder Systems)
- Fire Alarm Systems testing, maintenance, and installation
- Conduct PAT Testing
- Install Networking systems
- Domestic & commercial rewiring
- Pumps & Motor Maintenance & Installation
- Maintenance of control panels and generators
- Ex Installations and maintenance
- Assist with installations of air source heat pumps
Requirements
- Proven experience as a time-served electrician
- Knowledge in domestic, commercial and industrial (combination of all 3 desirable)
- Knowledge/relevant qualifications in renewable energy systems such as EV Chargers, Solar and Wind (desirable but not essential)
- Recognised inspection and testing qualification e.g. C&G 2391-52 (desirable but not essential)
- Full driving licence and willingness to drive to various sites.
