Malakoff currently has an employment opportunity for an:



The suitable candidate will be an experienced, competent, electrician, capable of undertaking work to recognised standards. Ideally the candidate will have a marine or industrial electrical background.

The position will be based on our standard ‘on shift’ terms with a 2 week on, 2 week off, shift rota.


Other essential criteria are as follows:

  • Will display a positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to get the job done.
  • Will be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Will be able to supervise and manage people of a variety of trades.
  • Will be willing to input into the direction of the department.
  • Will have a full driving licence.

The position will be based in our Lerwick facilities but travel throughout Shetland will also be required
