Accounts Assistant

We are currently looking for an experienced accounts assistant to join our small and friendly team. Our team aims to provide a very good quality of service for our clients whilst maintaining a flexible and positive work environment.
The successful applicant to this role will be responsible for providing support to the business through the preparation of financial statements and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
Your key responsibilities in this varied role will mainly include:
- Accounts preparation for a varied client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Personal and corporate tax returns
- Supporting the management team when required
Occasional preparation of payroll and VAT returns may also be required.
The qualities that you will bring to the role include:
- Excellent customer service and team working skills
- The ability to interact confidently with internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of and experience with various accounts and bookkeeping software packages
- Previous experience in a professional accountancy role is essential
The post is full-time, but part-time hours could be negotiable. Salary will depend on applicant and experience held.
