Community / Rescheduled festive tractor run taking place tonight
LERWICK’s Christmas tractor run is taking place tonight (Tuesday) after being rescheduled due to last week’s weather.
The event will kick off at 7pm at the marts before the festive tractors undertake a lap around town, ending at the Anderson High School car park for photos.
The tractor run, organised by the Shetland Young Farmers group, is also fundraising for Shetland Foodbank. An online donations page can be found here.
Meanwhile passengers on the South Mainland bus have been enjoying a bit of festive cheer today.
Driver Erwin Weyers, pictured below, has dressed up as Santa and added lights inside the front of the bus too.

Journalism comes at a price and because that price is not being paid in today’s rapidly changing media world, most publishers - national and local - struggle financially despite very healthy audience figures.
