Letters / Do folk living in the Shetland like the TV show ‘Shetland’?
I am a Scot living in Los Angeles, and the crime drama series Shetland is shown here on PBS.
I watched two episodes, which had credible scenery and a great cast of actors, but I didn’t like it at all.
The problem for me was that I couldn’t believe these characters were Scottish. I don’t think the writing captured the nature of us Scots.
I would like to know what actual Shetlanders thought of the programme.
