News / Police witness appeal
POLICE are on the lookout for witnesses after receiving reports of a collision on a westside road on Wednesday.
Damage is said to have been caused to a vehicle’s driver side mirror in the incident which took place on the A971 around half a mile east from Bixter at about 4.45pm.
The second vehicle is said to have continued driving east towards Lerwick without stopping.
Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact Lerwick Police Station on 101.
