News / Police seize cannabis resin at Holmsgarth ferry terminal

TWO men have been taken into police custody after being found in possession of cannabis resin worth £6,500 as they disembarked the NorthLink ferry in Lerwick.

The men, aged 49 and 52, were searched and detained at the Holmsgarth terminal on Tuesday morning after travelling from Aberdeen.

A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
