A DRIVER was taken to hospital following a one vehicle road accident at the Black Gaet, between Lerwick and Scalloway, on Monday afternoon. 

There was no damage to any property and a police spokeswoman said the driver was taken to the Gilbert Bain Hospital as a precaution.
