Letters / Madam Nature’s Revenge?

I refer to your news item ‘Council moves workers out of North Ness’ (SN 20/9/16).

It comes as no surprise to me that “the White House”, also known as Corpulent Services HQ, has “problems”. In fact, had SIC/SCT/SLAP consulted me before building work began, this could have been avoided.

When the site was cleared hundreds of plants, as well as thousands of crocus and daffodil bulbs and their associate fauna were bulldozed.

A clear case of Madame Nature’s Revenge and perhaps a lesson for the future?
