News / Released on bail

A 70-YEAR old man from Hillswick has been released on bail after appearing from custody at Lerwick Sheriff Court, on Monday.

 Alistair Munro, of Stucca, is facing four charges of assault and two of behaving in a threatening manner, all alleged to have taken place at the St Magnus Bay Hotel, at Hillswick, and at his home address, on 24 July.

The cases against Munro were continued without plea until 3 August.

As a special bail condition, he was told not to contact, directly or indirectly, one of the victims named in the complaint.
