News / Police seek possible victims of theft in Mossbank area

POLICE say they are following a “positive line of enquiry” following the report of thefts in Mossbank on Saturday.

Isles officers are asking anyone who may have been the victim of theft in the area at that time to get in touch with the police by dialling 101 (which costs 15p per call), calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 or attending at Lerwick Police Station.

At the weekend police reported that a vehicle’s window was smashed and money was taken at Maidenfield between 5am and 6am on Saturday, while medication was stolen from a locked house in Sandside at some point between Wednesday and Saturday.
